Dear Parents, 

As a ministry of Lakewood Baptist Church, it is our mission to provide a safe nurturing Christian  environment for children and to assist in building a strong spiritual foundation while also encouraging the intellectual, physical, social, emotional, development of each child. We believe that every child is  created in the image of God and by teaching God’s love, we can encourage children to respect and love one another. Our staff will provide encouragement and positive guidance for your child. We believe in creating a healthy parent teacher relationship by frequent communication. Our staff will keep you well informed of special events and activities happening in the program. We use a variety of manipulatives such as music, art, crafts, outside play, games, stories, videos, chapel time as well as age-appropriate stimulating curriculum in the classroom. You can rest in knowing that you have chosen a quality program where your child will be well prepared for a lifetime of learning. 

If you do not currently have a church home, we would like to welcome you to join us at Lakewood Baptist Church. We would love to have you, and your family come to worship with us on Sunday mornings during our Worship services, Sunday School, as well as Sunday and Wednesday evenings. LBC has many exciting opportunities for all ages, babies-seniors. We have a very active youth group for older students, a great children’s program for elementary aged children as well as a terrific nursery and preschool program. Children’s choir is held on Wednesday evenings and our Awana program is held on Sunday evenings. Every summer we have VBS for preschool and elementary aged children. We have a variety of Sunday school classes for all ages and stages of life. In addition to our children’s programs, we also have a women’s bible study and a men’s bible study on Wednesday evening’s. We look forward to welcoming you in!
